/autoplay

Given a YouTube video ID, returns the next related tracks to queue up automatically. Every track is under 10 minutes, and the same source video won't hand two different callers the same next song while its related pool still has fresh picks.

GET/autoplay

Parameters are sent in the query string.

ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
video_idstringrequiredA YouTube video ID, or a full youtube.com/youtu.be URL — the currently playing track.
api_keystringrequiredYour API key. See authentication. Autoplay calls do not count against your daily quota.
curl
curl "https://yt-dow.co08.art/autoplay?video_id=dQw4w9WgXcQ&api_key=YOUR_API_KEY"

Response

On success (200), the response is JSON with up to 10 tracks, ordered by relevance:

200 OK
{
  "video_id": "dQw4w9WgXcQ",
  "count": 10,
  "total_autoplay_requests": 4821,
  "tracks": [
    {
      "video_id": "XXXXXXXXXXX",
      "title": "Track title",
      "duration": 214,
      "artist": "Channel name",
      "thumbnail": "https://i.ytimg.com/vi/XXXXXXXXXXX/hqdefault.jpg"
    }
  ]
}
FieldDescription
video_idThe resolved source video ID that was queried.
countNumber of tracks in this response, up to 10.
total_autoplay_requestsRunning total of autoplay requests made with this key.
tracks[].durationLength in seconds. Always 600 or less.

Calling /autoplay again for the same video_id won't repeat a track that was already handed out for that source video, as long as fresh related tracks are still available — so two people autoplaying the same song at the same time don't end up hearing the same next song.
