/stream/{video_id}
A shorthand for /download that takes a bare YouTube video ID in the path instead of a full URL in the query string. Everything else — auth, responses, errors — works exactly the same.
GET/stream/{video_id}
| Parameter | Location | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| video_id | path | string | required | A YouTube video ID, e.g. dQw4w9WgXcQ. |
| type | query | string | required | Either audio or video. |
| api_key | query | string | required | Your API key. See authentication. |
curl
curl "https://yt-dow.co08.art/stream/dQw4w9WgXcQ?type=video&api_key=YOUR_API_KEY" \
-o video.mp4
Path takes an ID, not a URL. video_id is always treated as a YouTube video ID. If you have a full URL, use /download instead.
Response
Identical to /download: on success the body is the audio or video file itself, with a matching Content-Type.
Errors
Same error set as /download — see that page for the full table, plus errors & rate limits for IP-level responses.
